Introductory Course:

Auto 1A & Small Engine Repair​

Concentrating Course:

Auto 1B CCR Electrical, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Auto Maintenance and Light Repair​

Capstone Course:

Auto II & Auto Apprenticeship

Knowledge

​Students will learn about automotive fundamentals, and automotive systems eg. steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, cooling, electrical, ignition, powertrain, heating and ventilation

Skills

​Students will learn how to tear down and assemble a small engine. They will learn about tool use, auto maintenance and repair. Students will also practice automotive diagnostics and trouble shooting skills.

Experience

​At the end of the pathway students should be experienced in automotive repair and service to the extent that they have the necessary skills to work at an apprenticeship level at an auto repair shop or can articulate at the community college level to further train in the art of automotive repair.
